Tonight's homework is:
LA - 7A / 7C / 7D - none
Social - Totem Pole Assignment - Due Wednesday, Completely colored and write up done explaining each category.
October Current Events - due Nov. 8
First Nations Test - Monday, Nov. 4
The test question is :
If you could choose to join one of the First Nations groups, that we studied in class, which one would you choose and why? The students are supposed tpo explain why discussing:
Organization - food - hunting and gathering, living arrangements, transportation, roles, religion
Decisions making - government, status of women, methods of decision making.
* Students will be marked based on how well they explain why these have chosen this First Nations group to join and live with. I am looking for details specific to the particular group selected.
Math - none
Science - test on Wednesday
REMINDERS
Oct. 31 - Halloween
Halloween movie - blocks 1-2 Bring snacks and what you would like to bring to enjoy the movie.
Halloween fun afternoon - Kids can select where they would like to spend the afternoon- dance, games room, non- Halloween move room .
Costumes - Kids may come to school dressed in their costumes. If costumes are a distraction they will be asked to leave them in their lockers. Fake weapons are not permitted at school.
Hot lunch - Wox Box
Have a nice evening. Stay warm.
